Eligibility:
-Candidates will be citizens and permanent residents of the People’s Republic of China at the time of application.
-Candidates must not be currently working of studying abroad.

- Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
-The relevant academic entry requirements must be fulfilled, including a high level of English language proficiency and a Master degree.
-Candidates must hold an acceptance letter (standard format) from Leiden University.
- Candidates should satisfy the CSC selection criteria by completing the CSC Application Form and the CSC Employer Reference Form.
-Successful candidates must return to China upon completion of their research.
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: Chinese PhD students, who will take a full PhD study or a period of PhD dissertation research at Leiden University. The CSC scholarship for a period of PhD dissertation research at Leiden University can on be applied for in the first round. All programs can be applied for, as long as the department/faculty/graduate school you’re applying to is willing to waive all tuition fees and research fees.

Scholarship Description: Peter Curzon Oram Charitable Trust will offer scholarship(s) to full-time postgraduate students of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for further education in the Art, Music, Painting and study of Ceramics and allied subjects, and for the furtherance of study in heart surgery at CUHK for the academic year 2011/12. The amount of each scholarship shall be determined by the Trust.
