Islamic Development Bank Prize for Women
Applications are invited for IDB Prize available for both individuals and organizations. The prize aims to recognize the essential role of women in managing water resources and thereby, improving the economic and social conditions of their communities. The Prize consists of two cash awards-U.S. $ 50,000 for a woman or a group of women and U.S. $ 100,000 for an organization. To be eligible, women candidate should be engage in activities and /or reside in one of the IDB member countries or in a Muslim community in non-member countries. The closing date for application is 30 November, 2014.

UK Department for International Development (DFID) is inviting applications for Medical fellowships available for doctors and dentists from Developing Commonwealth Countries.

2015 Asian Development Bank Graduate Internship Program

Asian Development Bank is inviting applications for Internship Program for graduates to work in a major international development organizations. Applicants must be enrolled in a Master’s- or PhD-level program at a school in one of the ADB member nations, both prior to and after the internship assignment. Internship candidates have to be nationals of ADB members. The duration should be a minimum of eight (8) weeks (56 days) and a maximum of 26 weeks or six (6) months for one internship assignment. Application period for the 2015 Internship Program: 1st batch: 24 October – 19 November, 2nd batch:  16 January – 11 February, 3rd batch: 13 March – 8 April.

Field of Internship: The Internship Program is a project-oriented learning opportunity for graduate students to gain experience through research assignments based on ADB’s current operational needs. The internship program offers the opportunity to work in a major international development organization

Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2015/2016

Applications are invited for up to 30 available University of Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic session. Fifteen scholarships will have a value of £5,000 each, while a further fifteen scholarships will have a value of £3,000 each. These scholarships will be tenable for one academic year and will be deducted from tuition fees. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree. The application deadline is 1 April 2015.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships at University of Nottingham in UK, 2015

University of Nottingham is inviting applications for developing solutions masters scholarships available for the students of Africa, India or one of the listed countries of the Commonwealth. Applicants must already hold an offer to start a full-time master’s degree program, including MRes at Nottingham for September 2015. Up to 105 scholarships are awarded. Up to 30 scholarships will cover 100% tuition fee and up to 75 scholarships will cover 50% towards tuition fees. The application deadline is 24 April 2015.

TAFE NSW Scholarships for International Students in Australia, 2015

TAFE NSW Institutes are offering 100 scholarships for international students who have demonstrated academic merit and other achievements. These scholarships are awarded for pursuing Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree courses. Each scholarship contributes $2,000 towards the tuition fees for a TAFE NSW course. Scholarship recipients will not receive any money. The application deadlines are 12 December 2014 for study in Semester 1, 2015 and Friday 29 May 2015.
